the new 2nd hour

Happy New Year!

So, 2010 passed. I wonder, if resetting the month from December to January is such a big deal that bus drivers have to work OT, MRT has to clock extra mileage, roads have to be closed and taxpayers' money has to go up in elaborate colourful flames.

This 00:00 of 2011, I was at the temple with my parents, Jas and Emman, losing count of the number of times the gong sounded. No fireworks there. Just the reverberating and solemn sound of the gong, and chanting afterwards.

New Year Resolution? Never made one that I remembered to keep. Never made one that I actually kept. But, let's just say... a healthier me and the same for my bank account. And, that all Emman's wishes will be fulfilled. Yes, I'm leeching on his wishes.

His next shot at making wishes... Day 2, Jan.

For now, it's another nice cooling night and I'm off to dream a good little dream...
